Job overview:
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager based in our Wimbledon office to join us on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, supporting the smooth running of our offices (London Fitzrovia & Wimbledon) and wider business operations.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the centre of our workplace, ensuring our office runs efficiently, our teams are well supported, and our processes and standards are maintained.
Working closely with the Head of Operations & ESG, you’ll support facilities management, business administration, compliance activities and continuous improvements that help our engineering teams do their best work.

Responsibilities :
Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including facilities, maintenance, suppliers and workplace coordination
Create a welcoming, organised and efficient office environment for employees and visitors
Support the Head of Operations & ESG with operational projects, process improvements and business initiatives
Line manage and support the Business Admin team, ensuring consistent and high-quality support across the business
Coordinate Health & Safety activities, including office checks, risk assessments and DSE processes
Support compliance activities including GDPR, ISO standards, audits and business accreditations
Maintain accurate business information across systems including CMAP and reporting tools
Coordinate supplier approvals, documentation and internal processes
Provide hands-on administrative support where needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Identify opportunities to improve office processes, communication and ways of working
Support internal projects including training coordination and improvements to business support services
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in an Office Manager, Workplace, Facilities, or senior administration role
Experience supporting office operations, facilities management and workplace processes
Experience managing, mentoring or coordinating administrative teams
Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance day-to-day priorities and longer-term projects
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is beneficial
Comfortable managing data, documentation and business systems
Experience supporting compliance processes, audits, ISO standards or Health & Safety activities would be advantageous
Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors and workplace services
Confident communicating with employees, visitors and external partners
